Who are we?

We are a specialist provider of all inclusive holidays for adults
with mild to moderate learning disabilities who would like to be part
of a small group spending time away together. We also run the Branch Out
Horticultural and Life Skills Project that operates on a daily basis
throughout the year in Suffolk, and have over thirty years experience of
working with people with learning disabilities.

Who are they for?
Our holidays are suitable for people who are fairly independent,
who require some support but who do not need personal care (although in
some individual cases extra support can be provided following further
discussion with the organisers).
The experienced Branch Out staff are on hand at all times to
provide help and advice. Staffing is normally based on a ratio of one to
six but can be flexible depending on individualneeds.
Types of Holiday
Branch Out Holidays are all unique and try to cater for personal
interests, for example, the serious walker or those who would prefer
something more relaxing. Each holiday location offers a variety of
activities. Living and communication skills play a big part during the
holidays and there are plenty of opportunities to put these skills into
practise. Specialist holidays can be arranged if requested for an
individual or a group.
Holiday venues are chosen in superb locations whether in
town, country or coast. Accommodation is carefully chosen and depending
on the sort of holiday, ranges from youth hostels, hotels and converted
barns to holiday homes, windmills and boats. The holidays have a basic
itinerary to suit the locality. Group preferences during the holiday are
accommodated. All holidays start from a pre arranged meeting point in
Suffolk. In some cases, it may be possible to pick people up en route or
meet at the venue.

What is included in the price?
Cost of holiday includes: Return transport from Suffolk to venue,
accommodation, bed, breakfast, packed lunch, evening meal, transport
during the day, excursions and entrance fees. Specialist instructor fees
if applicable. Not included are drinks and snacks outside of mealtimes,
souvenirs, gifts, postcards, other personal items and travel insurance.
